Gilmore Girls A Year In The Life - Fall - Review

Hi, Everyone!

We have finally reached to the final episode and bring on the tears.

Fourth and Final Episode - Fall

So we see Lorelai doing Wild, the book, not the movie, she tries to go off to the hike only to be turned because she doesn't have a permit but there was also two cameos from Lauren Graham's Parenthood co-stars, one being Peter Krause who was Lauren's brother on the show but in real life they are a couple and Jason Ritter who was a love interest in Parenthood for Lauren. Even though she was unable to hike she decides to drive off somewhere and get coffee, of course, and while she is searching for coffee and can't find it she walks around the back of the store and starts walking. She reaches to the top of somewhere and seeing the view, she remembers something and calls Emily. She tells her a story of how she got dumped by a guy and got so embarrassed that she ditched school and was walking around the mall, while she was starving and upset Ric…

Gilmore Girls A Year In The Life - Summer - Review

Hi, Everyone!

We have reached Summer and things are definitely are heating up in the lives of the Gilmore Girls.

Third Episode - Summer

The show starts off with everyone in town happy that Rory has moved back while Rory denies that she is back. There is also the 30s crowd who are pretty much in the same boat as Rory but she doesn't want to be part of it, understandable. The news that the Stars Hollow Gazette is shutting down because the current Editor decided to retire and Rory isn't pleased with the idea and requests to take over the Gazette. Rory tries to change things in the newspaper which everyone doesn't like but the scene where Rory and Lorelai deliver every single newspaper throughout the town is hilarious, with the constant banter over which side is East and West. But a startling surprise is Lane working at Kim's Antiques, huh go figure.

Lorelai is feeling left out when Michael wants to leave the Dragonfly Inn, which is very sad and the talks o…

Gilmore Girls A Year In The Life - Spring - Review

Hi, Everyone!

You have reached to the second episode. If you have already gone through the first packet of Milk Duds, I suggest you go out and buy more because we are going through the nitty gritty of the show. So let's get started before you've finished that bowl of popcorn.

Second episode - Spring

The show starts off with Lorelai and Emily in therapy, they are both not talking about anything. All three women (therapist included) sit in the room for an hour in silence.  They both struggle to find anything to talk about but with the dismay from Lorelai, Emily asks the therapist on her opinion of a 16-year old girl getting pregnant and leaving the house with the little girl. It shows that Emily wished to have been included in the upbringing of Rory's life. And also mentioning a letter that Lorelai had no idea what Emily was talking about which also lead to Lorelai walking out of the session angry and hurt.

Rory is breaking down career wise. She has been houn…

Gilmore Girls A Year In The Life - Winter - Review

Hi, Everyone!!

We are here! We have reached our destination. I will be reviewing each episode bit by bit forming my own opinion and giving a prediction at the end of what the characters would be like in the future if the show came back again, which I hope it does.

First episode - Winter.

The first episode is pretty much the beginning, you've just sat on the sofa and your about to get comfortable. That is what this episode was about, it was starting up again getting us settled back into the lives of the Gilmore Girls and the local townsfolk of Stars Hollow.

Rory moved out of her Brooklyn apartment and has scattered her boxes in many places from Lane's, to even Emily's house. Her career is not going as well as she had hoped for and is in a relationship with a man for 2 years and completely forgets about him when he walks out of the room, it starts off funny but gets a bit annoying that she forgets to break up with him. She also flys off to London meets a woma…

The Gilmore Girls Tag (Day 7)

Hi, Everyone!

Yes!! It's finally here! Gilmore Girls comes back tonight!! I am very excited about the show coming back. I have already got snacks and coffee to go along while I am watching it. And also I will be on Instagram if you want to see me watch the show.

So as you can see in the title, ANOTHER TAG, but this time it isn't a book tag it is just a bunch of questions to answer. This was created by Simply Abby (Video here) I saw this on Dana's channel, The Book Hoarder (Video here)

Basic Questions

How did you discover the show?
I watched the show when it was on Nickelodeon in the UK, it was only the first three seasons but I remember the episode when Lane's band played and Jess and Dean got into a fight over Rory. But then the show came on to E4 and myself and my sister would watch it when we got home from school.
Do you own the collection?
Yes, I do. I got the collection when I was in College, I discovered them in HMV and immediately bought it.

Movies I Have Watched, Mention in Gilmore Girls (Day 6)

Hi, Everyone!

I tried to do the same thing as I did with the books that I wanted to read but unfortunately, there are some movies that I don't have an interest in watching (WHAT!), I know I am so sorry, so I thought about changing it around and list all the movies I love that have been mentioned on the show. These are the movies that I go back to whenever I want to make myself feel better but also to look back at classic movies.

So grab your Red Vines, Marshmallows, Pop Tarts, Cookie Dough, Tortilla Chips, M&Ms, Twizzlers, Pretzels, Cheese Puffs and anything that can give you a food hangover in the next morning.

Breakfast at Tiffany's (Trailer)

Mentioned in Season 7 Episode 2

I adore this movie so much, I would get Moonriver in my head all the time after watching this movie. And the book is adorable as well. I would watch this movie whenever I feel like watching Audrey Hepburn.

Charlies Angels: Full Throttle (Trailer)

Mentioned in Season 4 Episode 16

Myself and my sister wo…

Gilmore Girls Book Tag (Day 5)

Hi, Everyone!

So a couple months back I did the Gilmore Girls book tag, the second one (Link to post here). And I haven't done the first one so I thought for the Gilmore Week I would do the book tag.

I hope you are enjoying this as much as I have been writing it, it has been so much fun and lately I have been watching clips from Bunheads, and I miss the show so much. (Curse you ABC!!)

I saw the tag on the Bookables (Video here). The original tag was created by Pucks and Paperbacks (Video here)

Lorelai - A character who is witty or sarcastic sense of humour

Bree from The Manifesto On How To Be Interesting by Holly Bourne.

She has that wit to her that I enjoy seeing but also she has such a tricky teenage life that Lorelai had. Of course, Bree didn't get pregnant like Lorelai did but found a way to confront those fears and become a better person for herself.

Rory - Your favourite classic

Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte

I think Jane Eyre was probably the most memorable classic book I h…
