Book Review: Insanity (Mad in Wonderland) by Cameron Jace

After accidentally killing everyone in her class, Alice Wonder is now a patient in the Radcliffe Lunatic Asylum. No one doubts her insanity. Only a hookah-smoking professor believes otherwise; that he can prove her sanity by decoding Lewis Carroll's paintings, photographs, and find Wonderland's real whereabouts. Professor Caterpillar persuades the asylum that Alice can save lives and catch the wonderland monsters now reincarnated in modern day criminals. In order to do so, Alice leads a double life: an Oxford university student by day, a mad girl in an asylum by night. The line between sanity and insanity thins when she meets Jack Diamond, an arrogant college student who believes that nonsense is an actual science.

I was very excited to pick this book up. I felt after reading Snow White Sorrow I knew that I would enjoy the writing world of the mind that is Cameron Jace. Cameron's style of writing captivated me with his retelling twist and turning it into, coming from the m…

Book Wrap Up (No. 11)

I would never read a book if it were possible for me to talk half an hour with the man who wrote it. –Woodrow Wilson I haven't read a lot of books in the last couple of weeks, mostly it is because I am not rushing. I set my Goodreads reading challenge goal to 80 books, I knew personally I would never be able to read 100 book or more for a year because it's a little exhausting. I gave this book 5 stars on Goodreads because Cameron's writing is incredible, I like the pace of the story, the steps to reveal each clue and twist. I thoroughly en…

What I Got For Christmas 2015

I should have written a blog post at the end of the year, but my body was telling me to relax and watch a bit of Netflix.
I feel like I procrastinate about work on this blog too many times, that it just something of an excuse instead. It has now been 4 months since I have come back from Thailand but it feels like a year, weird. If you don't have a job or your still in education, the one thing you should know is, is that even though you love your job and the people you work with, the system/business/money making side of work makes you feel tired and feel like the other side do not understand when we are trying to say. Enough of the work update.
On with this blog post!
So I ordered some book on Christmas day which I am counting as my birthday treat.

1. Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone
2. Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge
3. The Healer's Apprentice by Melanie Dickerson
4. Scent of Magic by Maria V Snyder

Also with them I purchased Belle(seen above) Funko Pop from the Beauty…
