Favourite Books Of 2015

The year had come to an end. One door closes, another one opens (More like; one book closes, another one takes it's place)
My year of reading as been amazing, It is unbelieveable how many books that I have read this year. I took part in the Goodreads Reading challenge and overpassed my reading target. Any way, so here is my favourite books of 2015.
15. Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige
I read this book at the VERY BEGINNING of the year. I really loved the concept of the "What happened to..." type of books. This book is set years after The Wizard of Oz, where Dorothy from Kansas wanted to go home and met a Lion, Tinman and Scarecrow. But Paige gave a bit of a twist in the tale and made the characters that we know quite well and make them darker. I loved use of magic in this book and how everything that you know about the original tale is twisted to love the Witches.
14. The Winner's Curse 1-2 by Marie Rutkoski
I think I saw this book on thebookbasement's Youtub…

Book Wrap-Up (No.10)

Since my previous Wrap-up I wasn't reading a lot of books as I had hoped, the books on my TBR pile weren't interesting for me and at the end of November (more specifically pay-day) I purchased new reading material.

Some of these books have been re-reads and some have been ones I have been meaning to read.

Oh My Goodness. Such a brilliant book. I have already made a full book review last month. If you are interested in my thoughts of the book the link to the page is here.

Continuing on with the Katie Fforde binge-reading. This was one of the book that I have not read from Fforde. I got the book some time this year and have been meaning to pick it up. I liked the concept of Antiques in this book and I really liked Flora. She is a very strong-minded character, she is determined to succeed much to the dismay of her cousin and his fiancée.

This book had a similar aspect to the previous one. It was about antiques but it was more to keep business continuing and prevent it from bein…

Movies I like to watch at Christmas

Tis the season to stuff your face with food and lounge around in your PJ's
The Holiday season is here, as well as the season for SALE. At work, we are already having sale items delivered to the store and since I do delivery it has been very busy which also means longer hours and a very exhausted person(that would be me).
Now before I worked in a retail store, I worked at my local theatre and one of the reasons that I love about Christmas was a Pantomime, I love Pantomimes, they are always entertaining to watch around Christmas. I love how it is suited for Adults and Children.
But my FAVOURITE thing to do at Christmas is to snuggle up on the sofa and watch Christmas movies. I have a Sky box in my house and there is a channel called Christmas24 which plays Christmas movies all day, and my sister and I would always go to that channel. So I am going to tell my favourite movies that I love watching around Christmas.
1. Serendipity
I am in love with this film, probably one of the fil…

Book Haul No.8.

A collective of books that I have purchased.
4 of these books I purchased at Waterstones and the remaining 6 were from Amazon.
You can find them on Goodreads with their full description.
Some of the books I picked out of curiosity and some were out of desperate need to have in my hands.

These two books by Cameron Jace are ones I am really interested in reading. I have been on a high after reading Winter and want to read more retellings and I am really looking forward to reading them.
Some of these books I have seen on Booktube and some are through browsing on Goodreads but I am very excited to read them.

Hope you are having a nice day xx

My New Hair

So I wanted to do something different to my hair. I have been dying it brown for almost 3 years now and I decided on a change.

I have been on Pinterest a lot looking for ideas and I decided to get my hair ombred purple.

Bleach 1.
Although something happened during my first visit to the salon. I had asked a friend from work to recommend someone who does her hair and made an appointment at that salon.
So I had my hair bleached twice and then the dye, but the dye didn't go through as planned.
The purple came out only at the ends of my hair.

It's sort of went brownish/pinkish which wasn't what I had wanted.
Luckily she was able to fit me in a couple of days later to get it redone and it looks amazing.

It looks amazing and I love it.
I am very glad I made this decision.
If you were ever interested to dye you hair a different colour and you don't know how to do it then be very sure if you want to change your hair colour.
Hope you are having a nice day xx
